Yancey A. McLeod III

Yancey McLeod has spent over a decade defending his clients in mass tort, product liability, and general civil litigation cases.

He is an integral part of the Maron Marvel trial team, serving as national trial counsel for many of the firm’s clients. He has an outstanding success record in the courtroom and has tried numerous asbestos personal injury cases throughout the country. He has briefed and argued asbestos-related Daubert/Fry motions in the federal court system and has successfully excluded plaintiff’s experts from testifying in both benzene and asbestos trials. A former law clerk for circuit and appellate court judges, Yancey has won numerous high stakes appeals in both state and federal appellate courts.

Yancey sits on the South Carolina Asbestos Stirring Committee and has achieved the elusive summary judgment for his South Carolina asbestos clients on numerous occasions.
