Yancey A. McLeod III

Director

Yancey McLeod has spent over a decade defending clients in mass tort and product liability litigation.

He is an integral part of the Maron Marvel national trial team and is most comfortable inside the courtroom. He has an outstanding success record, having repeatedly achieved summary judgment rulings for his asbestos clients in South Carolina. His wealth of experience trying asbestos cases in both state and federal courts allows Yancey to provide his corporate clients with the necessary tools to successfully navigate each case from start to finish.  He has successfully briefed and argued numerous Daubert motions in the federal court system and has won numerous high-stakes appeals in both state and federal Appellate courts.

Yancey also represents companies in related environmental litigation and compliance, including guiding them in CERCLA, South Carolina Brownfields Program, underground storage tank, and environmental remediation matters.

After completing law school, Yancey clerked for South Carolina Circuit Court Judge Kristi Harrington and Judge Daniel Pieper on the South Carolina Court of Appeals.
