James ("Jim") C. McKeown is a member of the firm’s national practice in mass toxic tort and
environmental litigation.   Jim also serves as an integral member of a national coordinating counsel team on behalf of multiple mass tort defendants in high risk jurisdictions (including Madison County, IL). In this capacity, he has coordinated and communicated litigation, settlement and defense strategies alongside local counsel, in addition to organizing expert and discovery needs. He oversees and coordinates the full-cycle of litigation for hundreds of cases across the nation, from inception to adjudication. Jim participates in trial preparation and strategy, including but not limited to drafting of discovery responses, depositions, dispositive motions and pre-trial motions. He also has experience serving as arbitration and trial counsel, in addition to acting as an arbitrator.

Jim was a former judicial extern for The Honorable James J. Fitzgerald III of The Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
