John G. Gaul is the firm’s resolution coordinator in mass toxic tort asbestos litigation. He is currently Managing Director of our Philadelphia office.  For over 30 years, Mr. Gaul's practice has involved the management of national asbestos litigation on behalf of numerous corporate defendants, first with the Asbestos Claims Facility, then as Director of Law for the Center for Claims Resolution.

Due to his extensive in-house and national coordinating counsel and litigation experience, Mr. Gaul actively advises many of the firm's clients in mass tort litigation. He is keenly aware of the pressures faced by companies who are defendants in today's litigation environment and the impact that decisions made in the course of handling cases in the tort system may have on their ongoing business concerns.  Mr. Gaul advises our clients in national litigation matters leveraging the firm's case management technology capabilities.

Mr. Gaul is an AV Preeminent Rated attorney, selected as a '2013 Top Rated Lawyer in Mass Torts Law'.

Mr. Gaul volunteers as a Child Advocate with the Support Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia.  As a result, he has been enrolled in the First Judicial District Pro Bono Roll of Honor.  In addition, Mr. Gaul has been a mentor as part of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program of Bucks County, Pennsylvania since 2003.  He is also a current member of the University of Delaware Dean's Advisory Council for the College of Arts and Sciences.  A former member of the University of Delaware Alumni Association Board of Directors, Mr. Gaul remains an active participant in various aspects of the Alumni Association's ongoing work.
