Brannon Berry is an Associate in the Jackson, MS office. He is a member of the firm’s litigation and appellate practice, with a focus on toxic tort (including Asbestos) and product liability. Mr. Berry is a core member of the trial team representing a large chemical defendant in various Mississippi jurisdictions against claims that former oil field workers developed respiratory injuries as a result of alleged asbestos exposure. He heavily participates in extensive trial preparation and is specifically adept in developing strategy for adverse expert witness development and examination. Brannon has experience managing day-to-day mass tort litigation for a Fortune Global 500 company in Mississippi, including drafting and filing dispositive motions, deposing witnesses, investigating and developing witnesses, conducting discovery, and negotiating dismissals. He has successfully drafted motion practice in both federal and state court. Mr. Berry has participated in the pursuit of appellate issues and has collaborated on the drafting and strategy for various post trial motion practice in the Mississippi court system. In addition, he has served as lead counsel in a complex tire testing dispute with a Super Late Model series out of Mississippi. Mr. Berry served as a Judicial Extern to the Presiding Justice Jess H. Dickinson, Mississippi Supreme Court.
