Brian Lesiewicz focuses his practice on toxic tort, products liability, and complex commercial litigation matters.
He has extensive experience in all stages of litigation, including drafting motions and pleadings, conducting depositions, issuing and answering discovery requests, writing legal reports, and client counseling. Prior to joining Maron Marvel, Brian was an attorney at a commercial litigation and business transaction law firm in Chicago. In addition, he has previous experience working as a claims specialist for a Fortune 100 insurance company and as a law clerk for the Cook County State’s Attorney. While in law school, Brian received a certificate in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution, and he received mediator training and certification through The Center for Conflict Resolution. He has successfully mediated a broad range of lawsuits. As a student, Brian earned a CALI Award for the highest grade in Pretrial Litigation. As an undergrad, he was an Honors Scholar and a member of the Men’s Track & Field and Cross Country teams. He competed in multiple national championship races and earned NCAA Academic All-American honors. Since that time he has remained active in the running community by volunteering as a coach/counselor for Stanford University’s Track & Field and Cross Country summer camps, as well as volunteering his time to help coordinate aid stations for the Chicago Marathon.
